Oktoberfest Plakat-Wettbewerb: Ich habe im Plakatwettbewerb für das
Oktoberfest 2008 der Stadt München den ersten Preis gewonnen. Mein Motiv
ziert Plakate und Broschüren sowie Merchandising-Artikel und den
offiziellen Wiesnkrug.
Das offizielle Plakatmotiv für das Münchner Oktoberfest 2008 steht fest:
Im diesjährigen geschlossenen Wettbewerb um das Oktoberfest-Plakat, der
vom Tourismusamt der Landeshauptstadt München veranstaltet wird, wählte
die Jury unter 21 Entwürfen von elf Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmern meinen
Entwurf zum Siegermotiv.
Das zu gestaltende Motiv sollte plakativ die Originalität des
Oktoberfestes, vor allem die Aspekte Lebensfreude, Lebendigkeit, Humor und
liebenswerter Witz zum Ausdruck bringen.
Mein Pop-Art-Motiv in leuchtenden Farben arrangiert die "üblichen
Verdächtigen": Freude, Spaß, Herzlichkeit, Lebensfreude, Genuß und –
natürlich – auch Bier in Form eines Herzens, eines Riesenrads, einer Breze
und eines Bierkrugs. Das plakative und humorvolle Bild wurde mit
Tuschepinsel gezeichnet und digital koloriert.

I have won the grand prize in the Oktoberfest poster design
competition initiated by the City if Munich. My colorful artwork is
shown on posters, brochures and merchandising products ranging from
t-shirts and mugs to beer steins.
nd the winner is....I have been
awarded the grand prize in the 2008 competition for the offical Oktoberfest
poster design.
The competition has been organized by the city of Munich to
celebrate the largest beer festival wordwide, the famous Oktoberfest which has
been a landmark event for 175 years now.
The jury has decided from 21 entries
for the closed competition, seeking designs stressing the
uniqueness of the festival, and in particular highlighting attributes ranging from
joie de vivre and vitality to humor and overall charm.
My entry for the
Oktoberfest poster design competition.
My motif is essentially a vibrantly
colorful pop art collage showing the "usual suspects," a heart, a Ferris wheel,
a pretzel, and – this goes without saying
– a beer mug. I used an ink brush for
the design, and CG colorized it on-screen. >more
