I am the recipient of the 2023 “Meefisch” First Prize for Picture Book Illustration for the best children’s book in the German language.
With delightful humour, Die Öblings kommen! (The Öblings Are Coming) unfolds the hilarious escapades of a pig family as they frantically prepare for the long-awaited visit of the Öblings—whom they’ve never met.
In addition to the mix of hand drawings and collage-style artwork I also wrote the story. The book is set to be published by Fischer Sauerländer in late 2025.
