Edited by Süddeutsche Zeitung, Germany’s largest newspaper, I created the cover artwork for 20 of the funniest books ever written for this Library of Humour. Covering all shades within the genre, this selection features short stories and novels ranging from light to pitch-dark humour.
Authors include Woody Allen, Fay Weldon, Boris Vian, Heinrich Böll, P.G. Wodehouse, T.C. Boyle, Roald Dahl, Robert Gernhardt, Peter Ustinov, and Gerhard Polt. Stylewise, I worked with a thin ink pen and some gray shadow to add depth to the cartoon-style images.
