I am an illustrator and writer for picture books, often mixing drawings and collage. Clients for fiction and nonfiction children’s books include Penguin Random House, Chronicle Books, dtv, Rowohlt, Familius, Minibombo, Chrismon, Princeton Architectural Press, Fischer Sauerländer, Hatje Cantz, Eulenspiegel, Carl Bertelsmann Junior, Campus, Ravensburger, Goldmann, Kindler, and Mondadori.

I have received the “Meefisch” First Prize for Picture Book Illustration for the best children’s book in the German language (Fischer Sauerländer). With delightful humour, Die Öblings kommen! (The Öblings Are Coming!) unfolds the hilarious escapades of a pig family as they frantically prepare for the long-awaited visit of the Öblings—whom they’ve never met.
