Children’s Book Illustrations

I am an illustrator and writer for picture books and juvenile novels, often using a mix of drawings and collage in my work. Clients for fiction and nonfiction children’s books include Penguin Random House, Chronicle Books, dtv, Rowohlt, Familius, Peter Hammer, Chrismon, Kindler, Princeton Architectural Press, Carl Bertelsmann Junior, Fischer Sauerländer, Campus, Goldmann, Eulenspiegel, and Ravensburger.

I am the recipient of the “Meefisch” First Prize for Picture Book Illustration for the best children’s book in the German language. With delightful humour, Die Öblings kommen! (The Öblings Are Coming) unfolds the hilarious escapades of a pig family as they frantically prepare for the long-awaited visit of the Öblings—whom they’ve never met. The book will be published by Fischer Sauerländer soon, with additional titles forthcoming from Chronicle Books, Familius, and others.
